“Your communication can be

better than it was yesterday,

but not as good as it will be

tomorrow.”

Adult Services

  • Adult speech-language pathology includes the evaluation and treatment of adults ages 18 and older. Adults may require Speech and Language interventions for a variety of causes. Some individuals may present with needs for speech therapy due to an injury or illness. Others may elect to participate in speech therapy due to personal preference for improving communication skills. Nevertheless, a need for improved communication can impact daily life and ideal functioning in social and professional spaces; and if unaddressed, can lead to emotional strain. With speech therapy these disorders can be addressed, resulting in a notable improvement in communication skills and overall quality of life.
